Battery storage for stabilizing power grids

The Government has sanctified the basic programme document, according to which the funds obtained from the sale of emission allowances to support the decarbonisation of the Czech energy sector will be distributed. Investment support for new renewable energy sources, in particular solar energy, is a key programme. The Modernisation Fund will also finance energy storage of all kinds in the Renewable Resources Support Programme. It is battery storage that is important for stabilizing energy networks as well as balancing the supply from new renewable sources.
