Job description:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate battery storage system developer(s) to join our dynamic team. In this position you will be responsible for designing, testing and implementing battery storage solutions to improve energy efficiency and reliability. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and researchers to develop cutting-edge energy storage technologies that meet our clients' needs and support the transition to a sustainable energy future.

Required:

- experience in the design and development of advanced battery storage systems, starting at the battery module level, including hardware and software components

- performing thorough testing and verification of battery systems to ensure safety, reliability and compliance with industry standards

- analysing performance data to optimise the efficiency and lifetime of battery systems

- working with cross-industry teams to integrate battery storage solutions into broader energy systems

- staying on top of the latest industry trends, technologies and regulations in battery storage

- providing technical support for the installation and maintenance of battery storage systems

- documenting development processes and preparing reports on the progress and results of projects

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or related field

- at least two years' experience in battery storage system development or related field

- good knowledge of electrochemical storage technologies and energy management systems

- knowledge of software tools such as MATLAB, Simulink or similar applications for system design and analysis

- excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in a fast paced industry

- effective communication skills and ability to play in a team environment

- English at a working level

Preferred Skills:

- experience with lithium-ion battery technologies and their applications in grid energy storage and renewable integration

- knowledge of regulatory standards such as UL, IEC and IEEE

- experience in project management and leading project teams
